I actually woke up a little bit before my alarm went off and decided to just get up and felt pretty good So that was nice Yeah, so Heading down to Indy today, huh? Let me know. How that goes and stuff and how much stuff do you have now like suitcase? Suitcase plus a bunch of shit like pack boxes to take to her house or is it just like the bare minimum? Probably got more dog food than you do Dog food and dog accessories Sucks you're going into a scary basement though, but you'll be there hopefully get settled and Hopefully you're feeling good now cause hard parts over you gotta move your shit in still to the house but that will be movers doing that for you so that'll be nice and Maybe you can finally relax for a little while so hopefully you can rest up this weekend and Be nice and relaxed I know that's crazy. [2026-09-11 08:43:00] Sam Willis: Morning love! I’ll finally be able to voice message you in like an hour!
[2026-09-11 08:43:00] Dave: What happens in an hour?
[2026-09-11 08:44:00] Sam Willis: Leaving lol
[2026-09-11 08:44:00] Sam Willis: Still at my parents. Haven’t been in a hurry.
[2026-09-11 08:44:00] Dave: Ohhh, you still have 2 cars
[2026-09-11 08:45:00] Dave: And yeah, probably no reason to rush now 😊
[2026-09-11 08:45:00] Dave: I was like: isn’t Christian staying until Sunday 🤔
[2026-09-11 09:28:00] Sam Willis: Transcription: Hello, OK first let me make sure you get here
[2026-09-11 09:30:00] Dave: Yes, I can hear you
[2026-09-11 09:30:00] Sam Willis: Transcription: OK, I am on the road. Oh my gosh and I could finally send an audio message. Christian is driving my car to Indianapolis. I'm driving the passenger van. So yeah, it's nice to like be alone. Well with the four dogs and Christian has a cat but anyway oh my gosh she has. I feel like I haven't talked to you in forever. He also didn't check in this week. Monday like this whole week like I don't even know what day it is like I cannot believe it's Friday. It's wild and I had every intention of trying to work this week like in the car ride and I was just barely alive a little bit that I wasn't driving, so yeah, I've gotten nothing done. And it has been rough, but I am so glad that this shit is almost done. Oh my God it'll be amazing. It'll obviously be more amazing whenever I actually move into my place but This isn't too loud. I'm right next to a semi very loud. Let me get back to you.
[2026-09-11 09:30:00] Dave: And it’s lovely!
[2026-09-11 09:31:00] Dave: Eeeee! You remembered check-in 😊
[2026-09-11 09:32:00] Dave: Lmao.. crossroads of opportunity
[2026-09-11 09:32:00] Dave: Which ofc is totally fine
[2026-09-11 09:32:00] Dave: Yeah I obvi didn’t press it because of everything going on
[2026-09-11 09:32:00] Sam Willis: Transcription: OK fun fact did you know that Effingham is called the crossroads of opportunity no joke even though there's nobody that lives here it's like 20,000 people but anyway crossroads of opportunity because it is the Midpoint of two major interstates so that cross right through as soon I'm at that point right now and so there's just a lot of traffic but Oh my gosh, I actually slept last night and I'm sad because I had to charge my ring all night so I didn't get to see my sleep or but I slept in a bed with all the dogs oh God, dammit Hold on I'll be back
[2026-09-11 09:35:00] Dave: I’m so glad you actually got to sleep!!
[2026-09-11 09:35:00] Sam Willis: <no text>
[2026-09-11 09:38:00] Dave: Cut you off at: is what it is
[2026-09-11 09:38:00] Dave: But I got the gist
[2026-09-11 09:39:00] Sam Willis: Transcription: Coming off because it's dumb but anyway I was saying that's what waves arms around entails I guess so but all right so catch me up like on your life and we're gonna have I missed anything work wise. I know there wasn't a CSRM all hands no not CSMCRM all hands. You probably didn't even listen, but how was that? No big or announcement way, that call was Sam I told you like really like he didn't say anything. He was just checking in so he did say, though that really he doesn't anticipate. My like like Stevens old or really changing all that much but he thinks that there will be bigger changes on CJ and Chanel side so Yeah, we shall see Just a heads up on that Anyway, so I'm actually feeling pretty good. Definitely need to work this weekend. I know I always say that I have to luckily Christian's flight is early on Sunday so I will have all Sunday just like. You know and we have no plans tomorrow either. I obviously wanna go see the new house like. We gotta return the van and it is fucking Sophie so we gotta go clean that I was supposed to have it, but I pushed it up to five so give us a time to clean it and not know that you know four dogs are in it. I also kind of broke the step up ledge So we're just gonna like act like that did not happen And see if they know so yeah anyway but so yeah, we have that obligation and then dinner tonight at five but we're gonna go to this really nice steakhouse of course I'm gonna pay but whatever it's celebratory So many people different people got it all in the same conversation people who don't even know each other like three people recommended the same restaurant within like a three day period. It's even that and so I was like you know what let's go this fucking restaurant so reservations at five because we eat the blue hairs. So anyway So that is the plans today and then tomorrow there are no plans so it'll be fabulous And So yeah, I still have a van full of shit and my car full of shit. Most of it. I have three dog beds, much dog and cat stuff. I have two suitcases of clothes for me a whole bunch of toiletries. And like I couldn't fit, I needed to have like tools out like a little bit of tools and cleaning supplies out to like the very last minute at my place so I have those packed in my car as well but like otherwise not much Yeah, so Who All right, well talk to you soon
[2026-09-11 09:39:00] Sam Willis: Yes I’m sorry we missed it
[2026-09-11 09:39:00] Sam Willis: Yes I’m sorry we missed it
[2026-09-11 09:39:00] Dave: But… why can’t we just talk. Nobody else knows the deal lol. We’re friends. You talk to Joe, Christian, Bucky (😒)
[2026-09-11 09:41:00] Sam Willis: Transcription: What do you mean why can't we just talk? I don't send audio messages to them. I mean, I guess I do have. Joe and Christian sometimes but I guess what do you mean we do talk but like I don't talk to them on the phone like I do I don't know the other difference though is that all of those are my exes and so they know my family and We're not having an affair that difference and so then I'm like on the phone talking to a married guy from work we might be like OK I mean, maybe not but like I guess I don't know Why don't you just voice message me in front of your family?
[2026-09-11 09:53:00] Dave: Audio Message.caf Transcription: And yeah, I knew that there was too much going on for check-in. I'm not I'm not upset at all that we missed it. There was a good reason, so no worries there
[2026-09-11 09:53:00] Dave: Audio Message.caf Transcription: I just need it Like in your contacts like they have no idea that it would be out of the ordinary or who if they ask, you can friend Sarah from work or or Dave or whoever and like they have no idea like what the deal is right so it's not like It's not like they're gonna be looking at your crossways but not I mean I get it. It's fine. I'm not mad at you. You were correct I logged out to CRM and then turn the volume all down all the way down and did something else Give us three printing stuff I don't remember and obviously nothing important happened because I haven't heard anything so I was proved right again. It doesn't fucking matter. It was the same old bullshit That's interesting about Chanel and CJ's team Yeah, we'll see what happens there. I guess I wouldn't mind if you made it just like all one big thing instead of having it maybe just re-organizing the the way we do things I guess I don't know. So yeah, nothing nothing new here Just the same old same old stuff we got the new guy on my team starting Monday so that's cool And I don't know I can't imagine they'll be firing anybody with this reorg considering we have all these well I say that the last time they fired a bunch of people and then opened up a bunch of positions So you know who knows what they're gonna do So yeah, nothing there So what else did you say what is that steakhouse called? I'm probably haven't heard of it, but I did go to. I guess you're not going to St. Louis Indianapolis There's a steakhouse in St. Louis at Paul took us too when I went there to hang out with them. It was really good and it was like the place everybody goes. I figured it was called it actually put it in my favorites on Google maps in case I ever come back through there, we need somewhere to eat. And I get a really good barbecue place from here saved So yeah By the house that would be fine return the van Yeah, that's sucks. You gotta work, but I'm really glad able to relax a little bit. I can hear it in your voice. I think that some of the weight is lifted so that is what I love to hear. Oh my same same old thing you know me I'm pretty regiment Been hitting the gym eating good Oh so yeah last week I guess I guess we're talking about yesterday. I feel like. I regress over like just the weekend. I know how it goes. Can be good next exercise to be healthy all week and start pants loosen up a little bit and then have like not even a terrible weekend but just like like they are at working out and then. You know eat something besides chicken and rice even if it's not that bad And feel like all it's just completely gone now my fucking pants are fit tight again. I like right back to where I was after just two days of sitting around. It's really not that bad and I feel better today after my run yesterday I think I dropped some of the water weight. I was probably all it was. So I'm still doing all right, but I am kind of losing the motivation a little bit like I went to the gym last night and I went to like two exercises for legs and I was just shot. I just left. But I did run yesterday, so maybe that was it but I even still this last week or so. I've just been kind of like losing that drive. You know that I had for a couple weeks still pushing through it still forcing it but We'll see that's just the ups and downs of trying to make it a habit you know Stupid Anthony's so that'll be fun. He's leaving again Sunday not stay long, but nobody could see that piece of shit. I haven't seen him in a while Yeah, that's pretty much yet. Adapter business is booming. And I might strike up a deal with so this place I Shit my package is from like a mailbox there and stuff for my business address and to keep my name and address like all of stuff and it's called red arrow mail and shipping like a chain and it's just one of those places that does all kinds of shipping for all the carriers and but they've also it's also like a hallmark gift shop And a gun store of some kind I don't know it's weird But the chick that runs the like the shipping and sign I guess it's like her dad or husband or somebody Like the next day over in the strip mall where he like I don't think they really sell guns maybe a few but like is more a gunsmith Operation in the house like some tactical flashlights and shit like that And they do like passport pictures like all kinds of stuff anyway back to the gift shop side I gave her a couple of those keychains the skeletons and the alligators were crocodiles and she fell in love with him so I think I might Strike up a deal to sell those in store there cause she has all kinds of shit like that so I think I'm gonna see if we can set up a little display like up at the counter or something and split the profits with We'll see what happens there just a thought so yeah, nothing really knew other than that though Truck I'm keeping on trucking all right it's getting almost 8 inches for you so yeah, talk to you soon
[2026-09-11 09:58:00] Sam Willis: Oh I lost 2 lbs this week!! YAY STRESS!!
[2026-09-11 09:59:00] Sam Willis: 💯
[2026-09-11 09:59:00] Dave: Take it where you can get it lol
[2026-09-11 10:10:00] Sam Willis: Transcription: That'll be awesome about the kind of partnership with the mailing place speaking of where is your package of stuff that I sent you? Are you tracking it? I need to know the status what day did I even send that Tuesday? It should like be maybe it'll come today so anyway let me know. Why am I going so fast? OK, you can't hear something you said I didn't listen. I turned the volume all the way down on the CRM all hands, but I have nothing changed cause I haven't heard anything well that's because you didn't listen you can't hear if the volume is all down there might still be eating. Anyway No, I mean most people told me there should not be any layoffs from this new rework so I mean and Samir kept saying we need more resources so and I got approved for Justin's backfill and so yeah multiple wrecks. My thing is I was like I don't know that we do need more resources, but I don't really know maybe we do. We shall see But yeah, shit has just been so crazy anyway What is this? It's OK it's OK. It's OK honey. You cannot be under there Loki oh my God, the semi just walked his horn because this guy. Fucking old military vehicle was up on one of the overpasses the interstate waving an American flag and then like he had two American flag in his hands waving them and then also had a big ass American flag like standing up in his truck and he's just there you know where type of shit anyway I just passed it and honked and Loki just got completely freaked out cause she's a massive baby. I tried to crawl underneath my fucking. Feet as I'm driving I'm like yeah that's not gonna happen anyway sorry you had to hear all that Call my son yelling So What are you and Anthony going to do whenever you guys going out to get some food or is he just house or what are you guys doing? Also, tell me what two places from St. Louis you have favored in your Google because I want to know if I know them. St. Louis definitely has some great barbecue places. I'm trying to find the name of the. I've been gone for two fucking long I can't remember the steakhouse I think I know which one you're talking about I also can't remember that's what I'm thinking of downtown Maybe it starts with a D but I totally beat that up so place we're going to is called Saint Elmo and it is near the stadium so Who What else did you say? You're probably missing something but yeah
[2026-09-11 10:11:00] Dave: No I mean someone would have told me… durr
[2026-09-11 10:11:00] Dave: Out for delivery today
[2026-09-11 10:12:00] Dave: If there was anything form crm
[2026-09-11 10:12:00] Dave: Lmao… Loki
[2026-09-11 10:12:00] Dave: I heard the horn
[2026-09-11 10:13:00] Dave: Oh yeah… because 9-11111111111111
[2026-09-11 10:14:00] Dave: DEEEZ NUTS
[2026-09-11 10:14:00] Dave: Nah we’ll just hang out probably
[2026-09-11 10:14:00] Dave: Maybe it starts with a D…. 🤭🤭🤭
[2026-09-11 10:15:00] Dave: That’s for your brother 😝
[2026-09-11 10:15:00] Sam Willis: Oh shit, today is 9/11!
[2026-09-11 10:17:00] Dave: Salt + Smoke - bbq place Stoney River Steakhouse And I have 3 kings public house saved but I don’t remember it
[2026-09-11 10:21:00] Sam Willis: Transcription: So salt smoke yeah that makes really good. That was actually like a newer Ish place whenever I was living there not like the classics that are downtown, but it was very very good and then I've actually don't think I've ever been to stony River steakhouse that was not what I was thinking that sounds like it's out with the birds three kings public house is trash was a trash very fucking mid from what I recall. So
[2026-09-11 10:23:00] Sam Willis: Transcription: If you're ever in St. Louis again, maybe you've already tried these places but they're known for emails pizza which is disgusting They just use pro cheese, which is amazing whenever you're drunk, but when you're sober, it kinda has a texture of snot It's amazing when you're drunk. They're also known for toasted raviolis which are delicious but then even more delicious is gooey butter cake. Gooey cheese Gooey butter cake oh my God, yeah these cakes are so fucking delicious. Those are the staples and then they also I know kolache's, obviously not or originate in. St. Louis, but they have the best fucking clutching factory ever
[2026-09-11 10:31:00] Sam Willis: Transcription: Oh hey I don't know if you have any time or interest, but I know you scanned through my inspection report on the house. I really haven't had a chance to look. I remember seeing like several callouts of things that were fire hazards. And maybe like some drywall stuff I don't know but my realtor said he would call me today too Discuss and he's like we can talk more but I think you could easily get like $2500 from them and I'm like that's cool but I haven't looked so anyway what would you? Well, I guess I probably wouldn't be pushing them to fix anything but I don't know what do you think $2500 seem reasonable or like if you were me what would you like? Want them to do or what would you ask for even moneywise?
[2026-09-11 10:36:00] Dave: Audio Message.caf Transcription: Actually, I was just getting ready to message you because you won't believe what I started working on today this morning and all through the CE college now copy Yep, I'm back on that Anyway As as far as the home inspection goes I'll look through it again, but I scanned it and the fire hazard stuff was not a big deal like to me. It was just a couple of like where things are going through the wall like. Pipes or wires or some shit isn't sealed with like foam sealant or something like that just it was pretty little stuff like I wouldn't even sweat it like it's things that I've like even doing myself. I don't do those things like what I do my own work for things. I don't even sweat it So yeah, I think I would probably consider having them do some of the exterior cosmetic stuff maybe trimming that tree back cause that was a little bit Concerning cause it's touching the roof and trees can like really creep up on you And they'll damage the house and rub up against the wind starts blowing it'll rubber branch up against the shingles and fuck them up or the siding or whatever so it was pretty much I think touching the roof so you might wanna have them fix that cause that would be a pain in the ass for you to fix yourself the interior stuff I believe seemed like it was just cosmetic so that's your call like that guy had to fix those cracks. It was along the same lines like if you would want those cracks fixed then the things that they called out there are those kind of things I think. But yeah, I'll take another look at it for sure and I'll let you know I could see not even sweating it if they've been cool like you know or if you wanna push them a little bit if they are you think maybe they're expecting to fix some things like cause I think you did pay over asking right so maybe it's worth maybe they'd be cool with like doing a couple thousand dollars worth of work which Would be cool, so yeah, I would probably say exterior and just left my head like from what I remember I would say the tree touching the roof Exterior cosmetics and I think there were some trim or something that looks pretty pretty gunky And then interior cosmetics like that
[2026-09-11 10:41:00] Sam Willis: Transcription: I'd have to look at what was about the exterior stuff Cause what I recall like would not be an easy fix other than the tree could fall out on that if they get the trim back, but the other stuff was like you know, concrete cracks, and sinking like I'm not gonna have them fuck with that but if there was some trim stuff, that'll be good. I do remember though the call out like there was car there were carpenter bees or something and so maybe I have them look into that like I don't know if they saw like a nest or something up there I can't recall, but. That doesn't sound fun, but it was carpenter bees or something else that sounded less fun than the carpenter peas so I gotta look at that. Also, what are you doing having a soft copy also, how are you already home? Am I dreaming or did you tell me you were in the office today go ahead semi It isn't like 1040 there either way I'm officially in eastern time zone so I'm forever one hour ahead of you. I am superior. I'm just kidding, but I will be forever one hour ahead of you. As long as I live here so that's like we are in different time zones like Yeah, so anyway, I would much rather be an hour ahead of you though consistently than two hours behind for half of the year
[2026-09-11 10:44:00] Dave: I’m in the office. I brought my laptop
[2026-09-11 10:44:00] Dave: Yeah this 1hr ahead thing will take some getting used to. But I think I like it much better than PST or whatever tf AZ calls it
[2026-09-11 10:45:00] Sam Willis: You’re working on PORN in the office?!?!
[2026-09-11 10:45:00] Sam Willis: 🤪
[2026-09-11 10:45:00] Sam Willis: You’re working on PORN in the office?!?!
[2026-09-11 10:49:00] Sam Willis: Transcription: Oh, before I forget, I was just I had Christian on my mind just now because I was wondering where he was Anyway, but I meant to say I was telling this to my parents and we've been a walk. We totally just fine you know like they normally do we got into like we didn't really get into a tip like we've been short with each other a few times just cause it's fucking exhausting but you know we always basically get along but I was saying like nothing like you know cross country road trip to like make you. You know remember or no kind of grateful that like you're no longer romantically with someone You know a little habits pop out again and like I'm just glad that I don't have to you know I don't wanna say deal with them, but basically you don't deal with them anymore like we're no longer together like that is great for me. If you know I just I so so so appreciate it but I'm also so glad that we're just like no longer together well one I couldn't have ever done this and moved, but yeah, he did apologize. I mean once again like on the drive we didn't talk much about it but he was like you know I'm really sorry about how my. Triggers and my anger is so jarring to your central nervous system and like I'm really trying to work on that you know for me for kids anyway recognize it Doesn't change him, but it's nice for him to apologize But yeah I'm just so glad that
[2026-09-11 10:56:00] Sam Willis: I get to go into my house tomorrow!!! Just to see it! I’M SO EXCITED!
[2026-09-11 11:01:00] Dave: Audio Message.caf Transcription: Oh my God it's so weird to think that it's nine it's noon there where you're at so wonder if this is gonna change the balance of who saying good night first To see
[2026-09-11 11:01:00] Dave: Audio Message.caf Transcription: Thanks for sharing that. That's actually quite interesting because I was wondering if like all that time in the car together like y'all rehashed any of that kind of stuff about the relationship if you know. I bet it was probably the real for both of you but for him To like just because you know And then also, do you think this will be like the last time you ever see him and do you think like how much do you think you guys will stay in touch after this? But it's also good. I'm glad that he. Recognizes his Issues you know that's good. That's a hard thing to change obviously but you know good for him that it's something that's on his mind. Oh, you get to go into your house but that's pretty awesome For an official walk-through or like, how are you managing that? Oh, you know it maybe you could tell them You could either fix all this stuff or get the fuck out two weeks earlier That would be cool if they would do that I don't know if that's like a thing, but you could try it But yeah Anyway, glad to hear you know you didn't fall back in love or anything Now he's a good friend I mean, he must be to help you do this so that's pretty cool with him. I'm glad you're really glad you had that help because it would've been super hard otherwise I mean, your parents could've come down and handle the drive that way, but it's super helpful to have him like Helping with us so it's really cool so that's good Something else Oh yeah, the copy thing Yeah, I don't know what prompted me. It wasn't the. Pornographic aspect of it so much although I did read through some of it when I processed the last day, but it was because I haven't like turns out April 16 was like the last time I synced it So it's been all those months and something just clicked and I was like that's a lot of text messages like I mean it's still obviously in our iMessage. It isn't going anywhere, but I don't know. Maybe it was just like an unfinished. I had a unfinished project the kind of thing where A lot has changed in AI since then and Was it something something triggered me to wanna look up something from our text? Maybe it was when you're breaking my balls about my memory. It's like I should just go so soft copy and search for that maybe that's what it was anyway then I started updating it or start looking through it and the code and stuff and trying to remember how it all worked. And Started making some updates and got hooked again On the project itself, I guess so now I'm Looking for efficiencies in the process So we'll see where that goes
[2026-09-11 11:13:00] Sam Willis: Transcription: Yeah, I didn't even ask if I could go in to see the house cause I figured like I would've just figured I wouldn't be able to, but I guess so. My realtor just called me. He was like hey do you know how about we go check out the house tomorrow and we can look at the inspection report together and all the stuff that was called out you know like in person and. You know, then compile our response back I'm like oh my God that would be amazing. I wouldn't fucking love that so waiting to hear back on an official time but that isn't and I'm so freaking excited I guarantee I will be the one to say good night first now. Or will be saying good night at the exact same time so that'll be interesting Also, yeah, sorry for busting your balls on your memory but like it is just so weird it seems like like lately. It seems like your memory have been really good and then like just over the course of a few days like that's probably cause I've talked so much and there's been like so many different logistics that I've talked about but I was like around. We talked about this shit. But anyway, it's been a while and I talked a lot so you know also like I don't expect you to remember all this shit about my life so Yeah, anyway I must see Indianapolis cause I see an airplane coming in the airport is right on the west side of town so it is perfect anyway Oh man, I'm so excited to get there to be done So great Alrighty I shall talk to you later
[2026-09-11 11:19:00] Dave: Audio Message.caf
[2026-09-11 11:20:00] Dave: Audio Message.caf Transcription: And furthermore, I know I've mentioned this at least once already but I love love, love, and how much more relaxed and happier and just better you sound now it's totally voice 10 five like that you are just way way better off as far as like stress and shit goes that you are over the last few weeks It's like night a day. I got better if I went back and saw your messages from a few weeks ago after listening to them today, he would sound like you're probably about to kill yourself. You sound really great makes me so happy
[2026-09-11 11:25:00] Sam Willis: Yes I feel sooooooo much better
[2026-09-11 11:28:00] Dave: Ha! This is exactly what I was expecting…
