I went to bed and. Woke up with the alarm, went off So that was pretty awesome That's the thing that sucks about working out at night I think is that I always have to pee because I drink obviously more water And then Of course I pay for go to bed but it all processes through from the previous couple hours and I wake up at first like five or 530 and can't just go back to sleep so yesterday today I got up just when I got up cause I woke up pretty decently Yesterday that I did not, I just went back to bed for 10 minutes before the alarm went off or whatever it was So yeah, there's a happy hour tonight, but I don't think I'm gonna go It's the way the hell out in Grapevine and I don't know. I'm on such a streak of not drinking and working out. I think I'm just gonna stick with the routine now. I don't wanna break it So are you going to the office today? Could you leave tonight right and then you work from home tomorrow? So is that right and then you come home Sunday morning? To remind me again, what the agenda is while you're there you're going for college graduation high school it's not now Graduation time for anybody who are you going there for school just started back up. I thought it was a graduation. Well, I don't know whatever yeah, let me know what's going on there. I'm probably just completely wrong. [2026-08-20 08:13:00] Sam Willis: Transcription: Good morning I'm just getting ready For the lovely day slept like shit mainly cause it took me so long to fall asleep and I don't know why My mind wasn't really racing or anything, but like my heart was racing so that's fun I fly out tonight Leave my hotel early in the morning tomorrow Drive the two hours to Columbia work I think the graduation starts at 6:30 and yeah it's my sister's graduation from nursing school and she's like in an accelerated program so it's not like normal graduation timelines So graduation at 6:30 then our dinner reservations are at 8:30 so that's gonna be fucking rough like eating that fucking late in the day So I'm sure I'm gonna see my total fucking ass that night too. I'm gonna sleep like ass the rest of the weekend yeah AnyWho, but it'll be good then I'm supposed to right now. Stay at my sister's house Saturday night, but I honestly don't know my family is going back home Saturday at some point and they're meeting Maddie Brandon's girlfriend in St. Louis. For like a late lunch And so like maybe I'll go back to St. Louis and just stay in a hotel again My flight out is like at 8 AM on Sunday so Her new plans are going Effingham at all cause it's just not convenient so Yeah, so we'll see what else Let me put my mascara on first hold, please
[2026-08-20 08:20:00] Sam Willis: Transcription: OK, so no I didn't work yesterday and I had to push off a bunch of meetings so today is totally full and I'm also flying out tonight you know so I had a dream that I was flying to Idaho Of all places, and the name of the town was Richmond of all places like I have no idea what that means in my life I was meaning to fly out of Richmond and into some other town or no I think it was Yeah, I think I was trying to fly out of Richmond. I don't know anyway the whole flight was only 38 minutes I guess and I realize the morning of that I accidentally had myself as flying out of Richmond Virginia. So I like scrambled to like rebook and you know when your dreams when you're trying to do something and like everything is getting in your way, you accomplishing what you need to accomplish so like yeah that's what was happening so the next thing I know I woke up and it's fucking noon and I had missed all of my meetings like that morning and like I didn't even I didn't even realize it hadn't checked into work Nothing and I felt fucking terrible and then like I realize that the fact like I'm gonna spend more time driving to like this place like I should've just not even slow like it was weird. I don't know how to explain it. Don't know why I was going there but whatever so I had that dream last night so I'm obviously feeling guilt that's transferring over my dreams And I think did I tell you that in real life the hotel I booked for tonight I accidentally booked For the month of September, completely different dates and a different month and I noticed it like I think I booked the flight Sunday and then I noticed it on Monday. I'm like wait a minute so maybe that's where the different dates are like. I don't know what the fuck I was thinking but anyway. Fun times so yeah I'm surprised you're even considering a happy hour because that would require you to go to work. Go home for a few hours and then get back out to hang out with work people that doesn't sound like a youth thing. What time is happy hour What's the occasion happy hour this is something you guys do regularly or what? It sounds fun, but I understand yeah if you don't wanna break your good habits like you're forming I think that's great as well. Plus you have to drive into the office tomorrow. Yeah Sorry about your luck. I'm just kidding. Yeah, so I tell you that John on my team, you know how his wife had cancer and he took last two weeks off for FMLA while she had surgery. Well they came back and she has cancer in her nose now. So she's gonna have to do chemo I can't I told you that so anyway Yeah So what else? Jesus Christ Too much heat protected OK bye

[2026-08-20 11:08:00] Dave: Yeah that’s what I’m thinking
[2026-08-20 11:08:00] Sam Willis: Call the dr.
[2026-08-20 11:08:00] Sam Willis: Do you have a primary dr???
[2026-08-20 11:08:00] Sam Willis: Alright. Gotta focus on a TTX

[2026-08-20 11:09:00] Dave: Seems like the right time
[2026-08-20 11:09:00] Sam Willis: Is that scheduled
[2026-08-20 11:09:00] Sam Willis: Which is??
[2026-08-20 11:10:00] Dave: It has been a while though
[2026-08-20 11:10:00] Sam Willis: Hmmmm
[2026-08-20 11:10:00] Dave: Idek. This fall sometime. They let me know
[2026-08-20 11:13:00] Dave: Yes mommy
[2026-08-20 11:13:00] Sam Willis: Sounds like you need to make sure one is scheduled
[2026-08-20 11:14:00] Sam Willis: For real. Do it.
[2026-08-20 11:14:00] Dave: Si mamacita
[2026-08-20 11:14:00] Sam Willis: You’re past due on the colonoscopy
[2026-08-20 11:14:00] Sam Willis: By a couple years. Hmph
[2026-08-20 11:14:00] Dave: Ok mother
[2026-08-20 11:14:00] Dave: You never did tell me how Joe is doing
[2026-08-20 11:15:00] Dave: And I’m going to do it. I promise!
[2026-08-20 11:37:00] Sam Willis: Seeking a second opinion but in the meantime he’s going to get another 6 rounds of chemo then rescan
[2026-08-20 11:37:00] Sam Willis: Seeking a second opinion but in the meantime he’s going to get another 6 rounds of chemo then rescan
[2026-08-20 11:40:00] Sam Willis: It did but they want to do it again to get it even smaller 😭
[2026-08-20 11:40:00] Dave: I mean I guess that doesn’t mean no more chemo
[2026-08-20 11:40:00] Dave: I thought you said the first round was successful… or reduced it or something?
[2026-08-20 11:40:00] Sam Willis: But that’s why he’s seeking a second opinion too
[2026-08-20 12:16:00] Sam Willis: How is your day going
[2026-08-20 12:33:00] Dave: Audio Message.caf Transcription: It's not going too badly Did just Buy to so I ordered a printer online I know I know I Buy to pick it up just now and it wouldn't fit the car so I was like well fuck it. I'll just cancel it and order it for delivery or whatever. So I can't cancel it like at the store. They couldn't cancel it so they told me to go on the website and see if I could cancel it there which I couldn't so then the dude was like well. My manager said you got a call the number so I called the number and some lady in India told me that she would not cancel my order at this time so. So Like this is all I'm giving you like the condense version of all this Ultimately, you know, I'm like what am I supposed to do? Like this $1800 bro what do you want me to just like write this shit off and anyway turns out the only thing I can do apparently it's just leave it not picked up 25 It'll just the order will be automatically canceled so kind of dumb
[2026-08-20 12:50:00] Sam Willis: Why can’t you go pick it up with Juliet’s car?
[2026-08-20 12:51:00] Sam Willis: Bro, really
[2026-08-20 12:51:00] Dave: Yes. Really
[2026-08-20 12:51:00] Dave: Because it’s all the way out in Irving and I don’t want to drive all the way there and back
[2026-08-20 12:52:00] Sam Willis: Doesn’t have to be today or even during the work week
[2026-08-20 12:53:00] Sam Willis: I do know how but that doesn’t mean that I think it’s logical at times
[2026-08-20 12:53:00] Dave: How do you not know how my brain works?
[2026-08-20 12:54:00] Sam Willis: This is totally illogical
[2026-08-20 12:54:00] Sam Willis: the math isn’t mathing on this one
[2026-08-20 12:54:00] Sam Willis: It’s $1800
[2026-08-20 12:54:00] Sam Willis: Something you WANTED
[2026-08-20 12:54:00] Dave: You of all people should find this completely normal behavior
[2026-08-20 12:54:00] Dave: Kinda wanted 🤭
[2026-08-20 12:56:00] Dave: Audio Message.caf
[2026-08-20 12:56:00] Sam Willis: Sigh
[2026-08-20 12:59:00] Sam Willis: Transcription: What you're describing is beyond First world problems Oh, I'm sorry Anyway, so Yeah bro, I can't relate. I really can't. You're not making sense. Also you're gonna go and get another printer in a week or two because at the end of the day you want to spend money and you're trying to spend money and I don't even know, bro, I just don't even know. Also, I don't get you've already paid $1800 right I don't get how it wants the order cancels that they're gonna refund you like I don't get how are you not out the money
[2026-08-20 13:01:00] Dave: Audio Message.caf
[2026-08-20 13:02:00] Sam Willis: Hmmmmm
[2026-08-20 13:02:00] Dave: Audio Message.caf Transcription: And I think it's like a built-in fail safe like of my Almost subconscious mind knowing that like I don't need one. It's not a smart purchase like I got money but like is that really like what I should spend it on You know so part of me is like oh well fuck it. I'll just whatever I can't get my satisfaction right now. Then whatever it's for the best take it as a sign
[2026-08-20 13:04:00] Dave: Audio Message.caf
[2026-08-20 14:54:00] Sam Willis: But have you ever read The Alchemist?
[2026-08-20 14:54:00] Sam Willis: I haven’t even had a chance to listen to these yet? 😭
[2026-08-20 14:55:00] Dave: I don’t think so
[2026-08-20 14:55:00] Dave: Oh wow!
[2026-08-20 14:56:00] Sam Willis: I don’t think anyway
[2026-08-20 14:56:00] Dave: I know of it though. Why do you ask?
[2026-08-20 14:56:00] Sam Willis: Not that it has anything to do with imposter syndrome
[2026-08-20 14:56:00] Sam Willis: Someone was recommending it on this imposter syndrome call
[2026-08-20 15:04:00] Sam Willis: Oh nice
[2026-08-20 15:04:00] Dave: It’s an allegory about trusting yourself, or something like that. So could be related 🤔
[2026-08-20 15:06:00] Sam Willis: Are you for real?
[2026-08-20 15:06:00] Sam Willis: Omg are you really going to go buy a truck??
[2026-08-20 15:06:00] Dave: You convinced me 😊
[2026-08-20 15:07:00] Dave: lol, no!
[2026-08-20 15:07:00] Sam Willis: Phew!
[2026-08-20 15:10:00] Sam Willis: Transcription: I'm going now to go get some lunch, dude I'm so tired and this is gonna be such a long fucking day. I'm not going home. In between now and my flight so my flight done till 650s we gotta have I get to the airport at 4:50. Well that means I'm gonna be in the office till 430 that just sounds like fucking unbearable. Tired Also When I get situated, I'm gonna have to look but dude I'm almost positive if I don't have my AirPods and I just don't even know what am I gonna do? What am I gonna do so I'm I might have to just buy something cheap from the airport. I don't fucking know I have to ask something.
[2026-08-20 15:19:00] Dave: Oh! I wondered if you were going straight to the airport
[2026-08-20 15:20:00] Dave: You don’t have AirPods?’
[2026-08-20 15:20:00] Dave: wtf bro? How?!
[2026-08-20 15:21:00] Dave: Audio Message.caf Transcription: Oh and what are you getting for lunch? Gross Greek salad hopefully get some In-N-Out or something good I got a headache so that kind of sucks. Don't know what's up with them. Might Take your stupid suggestion and take Juliette's car to go get my printer tonight. We'll see.
[2026-08-20 15:21:00] Dave: Audio Message.caf Transcription: Oh my God yeah that is going to be a super long day for you. That sucks. I wondered if you were going to the airport. Like straight from work And yeah, why are your AirPods not like just always in your purse or whatever like I have a side pocket on all my pants and it's like my cell phone Self actually knife, cell phone AirPods and fidget toy EDC my four things that I've never fucking it's just habit. I always have all of them on me at all times.
[2026-08-20 15:24:00] Dave: Audio Message.caf Transcription: You know what I actually just remembered that I woke up with like that sick feeling in my throat this morning you know sometimes you like before you really start feeling ill like all over Before you get sick, you can like feel like just that fucked up feeling in your throat. I had that this morning and. I guess it went away. I took my normal Claritin stuff and just I guess chalked it up to it be allergies but I've had this lingering headache for a few hours now so maybe that's what's going on. I'm getting sick cause I don't get headaches and I'm pretty well hydrated. I don't know it's probably wrapped meiosis from working out every day Oh
[2026-08-20 15:25:00] Sam Willis: I very rarely use my AirPods
[2026-08-20 15:25:00] Sam Willis: Bc at work I’m in an office
[2026-08-20 15:26:00] Sam Willis: I got my Greek salad of course
[2026-08-20 15:26:00] Sam Willis: Sucks about your headache
[2026-08-20 15:26:00] Dave: Nothing this nap won’t fix 😘
[2026-08-20 15:27:00] Sam Willis: You deserve a great nap baby
[2026-08-20 15:47:00] Sam Willis: The house didn’t appraise for the $515. They don’t tell us what it appraised for but we know it’s not for $515. FML
[2026-08-20 16:12:00] Dave: wtf? They don’t tell you? So what now?
[2026-08-20 16:25:00] Sam Willis: Bc I don’t think the report is done yet. We wait until we hear. Then I either come down in price (which I will unless it’s like absolutely insane) or the buyer can walk away.
[2026-08-20 16:30:00] Sam Willis: I wouldn’t. You have an “expert” telling you what it’s worth. Why pay more
[2026-08-20 16:30:00] Sam Willis: Yes but why would anyone do that
[2026-08-20 16:30:00] Dave: Or the buyer can come up with the difference right?
[2026-08-20 16:31:00] Dave: Because you want it.
[2026-08-20 16:32:00] Dave: It’s worth what it’s worth to the buyer, not what some “expert” says. That value is mainly for the bank
[2026-08-20 16:33:00] Dave: Because they won’t loan for more than the appraised value
[2026-08-20 16:33:00] Dave: I know that’s a pain
[2026-08-20 16:33:00] Sam Willis: I just need to remind myself that he offered $17.5k OVER my asking price so I should view it as me still having wiggle room. Unless he walks away 😭😭
[2026-08-20 16:33:00] Dave: I’m sorry baby
[2026-08-20 16:33:00] Sam Willis: I know but still.
[2026-08-20 16:33:00] Sam Willis: $515
[2026-08-20 16:33:00] Sam Willis: I just hope it isn’t too far off
[2026-08-20 16:33:00] Dave: What was the sale price?
[2026-08-20 16:34:00] Dave: Oh!
[2026-08-20 16:34:00] Dave: Yeah, you’ll be fine. I bet it isn’t even THAT much lower
[2026-08-20 16:34:00] Dave: I forgot about that
[2026-08-20 16:50:00] Sam Willis: The whole process is just tiring. I really can’t believe it didn’t appraise. That house would have appraised at $600k before dumbfuck took office.
[2026-08-20 16:51:00] Dave: That is total bullshit. BUT… I’m confident it will work out.
[2026-08-20 16:51:00] Dave: Right?!
[2026-08-20 16:51:00] Sam Willis: Literally
[2026-08-20 16:52:00] Sam Willis: Thank you
[2026-08-20 17:36:00] Sam Willis: My flight time keeps moving back 😭
[2026-08-20 17:37:00] Sam Willis: 15 min so far
[2026-08-20 17:44:00] Dave: Oh noooo!
[2026-08-20 17:52:00] Dave: Are you still at the office?
[2026-08-20 18:00:00] Dave: Eww
[2026-08-20 18:00:00] Sam Willis: Yes
[2026-08-20 18:00:00] Dave: What’s that like?
[2026-08-20 18:02:00] Sam Willis: I really enjoy not being around ppl lol
[2026-08-20 18:02:00] Sam Willis: I’m being productive actually!
[2026-08-20 18:03:00] Dave: True true 🤔
[2026-08-20 18:25:00] Sam Willis: What are you up to?
[2026-08-20 18:25:00] Sam Willis: No happy hour I take it
[2026-08-20 18:42:00] Dave: Haha no. Just finished eating. Thinking about going to get my printer 😜
[2026-08-20 18:42:00] Dave: When do you leave for the air port
[2026-08-20 18:45:00] Sam Willis: Just parked in the garage for the airport
[2026-08-20 18:50:00] Sam Willis: Fuck this fucking heattttt
[2026-08-20 19:19:00] Sam Willis: <no text>
[2026-08-20 19:19:00] Sam Willis: Lexi’s brother 😍😍
[2026-08-20 19:20:00] Dave: lol omg
