[2026-06-08 07:30:00] Dave: 16”!! 😳
[2026-06-08 07:30:00] Dave: Is that even possible?!
[2026-06-08 07:30:00] Dave: Audio Message.caf Transcription: Good morning sunshine I am so excited because this time tomorrow I'm gonna be fixing to head out Great So aware to even start with the Emerson thing So Let's see So last night I was Pulling out of the drive-through at the barbecue place actually the guy was like handing me the food through the window when Julie calls And I get the food start heading out and answer the phone and she's crying hysterically So I get her calm down and she says that a guy just showed up on the doorstep all aggressive and said that his acting weird being aggressive and he said that Emerson coerced his daughter into having sex and their contacted the police and they're doing a rape kid and All this shit So I was like what the fuck and we talked about it some more apparently there's this girl that he's been seeing who's 16 She's adopted he's on her like both parents, but they've had her forever She doesn't like them or whatever but She has she's snuck out like last Thursday. He picked her up and brought her over here snuck her in. And spent the night and they had sex According to Emerson, it was entirely consensual and then so so anyway that's that's what happened and then he took her home the next day, and apparently while she was gone Like she had piled up clothes in her bed to make it look like somebody was in there like if her mom checked in or whatever And So would you like the next day it got found out that she wasn't there her mom called the police and the police came to report that like missing person like all this shit And then like right around that time, I guess that the police were there. She came home in Emerson and dropped her off down the street or something. So that happened and The guy I guess had to come back up here from Houston where he was working or something anyway can you come to the house talk to Juliet looking for Emerson right? She called me. I'm coming home with the food Emerson's at work so you know what I'm gonna'll Bell just to see what's going on there cause I was like right on the way I had to go get home so I Go inside you said we go sit down in the lobby and I told him what was going on. Ask him what the deal was. He said no, you know it was completely consensual No course whatsoever she totally like got busted and then Scared to tell her parents, the truth or whatever there's some yeah You know how it goes right so They've been show me their text messages like everything like they've been talking all the time since then again this was Thursday They've been talking like like we do as much as we do and Totally fine everything's normal So I talk to him told him what was going on fully showed up. Don't say anything. The guy shows up. Don't say anything stay away. Call me immediately. So I go out and go to the car I asked Emerson what the guy drove and he said I don't know. I think he drives a Tesla but that's all I know. So When I was in the parking lot getting ready to leave gray Tesla pulls in the guy driving And I took a note and noticed that he drove over and parked right beside Emerson's car like over in the back of the parking lot so I was like all right Just gotta be dude so he's on the phone Gets out kind of wanders inside and I'm parked right in the front so I can see you in the building. He goes and goes into the bathroom for a minute comes back out goes up to the counter and. I could tell way he was Oh, I actually took a picture of him. I was recording him. Over from my car to see what he was doing over Emerson's car I took a screenshot of that of him and since Juliet is the guy And before she messaged me back, I get gone in and I saw him like kind of walk up to the counter and I was getting ready to go in and just see what was going on in Emerson called and was like so. I already talked to my gun into my voice band because Juliette said that he was acting like. He might've had a weapon on him So I go in And when I walked in this kid River was that Wierson's friend that also works there Saw me and he was like oh they're right there that's that so you're looking for that. His dad guy turned around. Came straight over to me and held his hand to shake my hand and I didn't shake his hand. I put my hand on his on his shoulder so when we go outside and talk about this. Kind of like out in front of me So we go outside and we didn't square up, but we stood in front of each other, and I said what's going on here because I just got phone with My wife who said that you were you know at the house being aggressive and now you're here at my sons work what the fuck is going on and he told me the story which I already knew at this point and I said well Emerson's account of this is that it was entirely consensual You know he's tend to believe him I'm not saying anything about your daughter, but I praise Emerson raise all my kids to be respectful women, the best liability, etc., etc. and Yeah, we had a more or less of last conversation. He's kind of stand there with tampons back. And he starts to get a little agitated and we're here again we're standing out in the middle of the front of Taco Bell And he starts a lot agitated, and his hands come out from behind his back, and he starts kinda like waving him around, and he starts to say something about So at that point, I adjusted my position a little bit like I took Dropped into a biting stance not a fight, but I like Took a wide stance and Put my hands up in front of myself like in front of my chest, like one hand and the other just so they're up like hold my fist up Kind of like I was writing something like my right hand writing something on my left hand that A non-aggressive way to have your hands ready So I did that and he said he said something about how you know if I see my daughter getting into a car or something in the night I don't know who it is something something he's gonna be bleeding out in the street for anybody get there or not Just about lost my shit and he knew immediately like I don't know if you've ever said something you knew that it was like with every fiber of your being that it was the wrong thing to say well that's what happened to him because Like I could feel the look on my face change, and I noticed that I was starting to like Like Balance back-and-forth a little bit on my toes like My right shoulder, kind of dropped drop back into a box and stands, and I still wasn't like being aggressive, but he like all of the color went out of that guy's face when he said that like all and a fraction of a second like he said it and like I'm sure that my eyes widen and my posture changed and he was like I just immediately all within a second like all of that happened and in my head, I was like I knew I was in charge of the situation like he was scared So anyway, I said wait a minute whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa you're telling me that you would fucking kill my son and you think this is that's the appropriate move to fucking kill him for this and he started back you know no no no no of course not no no no I mean I know of course I would never do that But you know you know, I'm just saying that if I didn't, you know before you know you didn't know you never know So I ended up with de-escalate and He had I said, like I appreciate your concern. You know first of all I get where you're coming from I don't have girls, but I'm protective of my boys and if I did have girls, I would probably be in your your situation if the roles were reversed and. He said Between that and like just the conversation overall he said something like what you know I'm I know I won't show up at your house again. I won't show up here again if you know, I understand where you're coming from too. I appreciate that you appreciate where I'm coming from and we kind of found ground and hands and. He showed respect for me that you know I wasn't just like you know fuck you get the fuck out of here or whatever You could tell that I was you know concerned about what was going on Well, also being protective of my kid And then we ended up talking about our Teslas and shit before he left Exchange phone numbers just in case or whatever so we left on OK terms and I think hopefully the situation was diffused like the overall situation not just the Taco Bell but Because he mentioned something end of the conversation, he had mentioned something about some counseling or therapist or something to kind of source out what non-consensual means to her to the girl, but whatever African exactly I said it, but it indicated that There may be some question on there and still as to whether or not it was Consensual or coerced So so that's good. I think nothing's gonna come up, but he didn't say anything to me about involving the police, but he said that to Juliet at the door. So I get home Eat my cold dinner And that was that so that was the situation last night But I went in there prepared to Have to fucking kill this guy so that's a lot. It's quite the psychological load. Obviously, I would have avoided that all causes, but not knowing whether or not he was armed and he was it He wasn't being nearly as aggressive with me And he may not have been being aggressive with Juliet either, but As she was just scared and I guess could've looked more than it was I don't know, but Yeah, that's that's what happened last night Good morning good morning hope you slept good I slept really well And I can't wait to see you OK bye

[2026-06-08 09:15:00] Dave: Right
[2026-06-08 09:15:00] Dave: Apparently they had already confiscated all her devices
[2026-06-08 09:15:00] Sam Willis: So like….did she literally just lose her virginity to Emerson?
[2026-06-08 09:15:00] Sam Willis: Look through her phone first.
[2026-06-08 09:15:00] Sam Willis: Do some more due diligence before you just show up at a kids house and his work
[2026-06-08 09:15:00] Dave: Yeah… I mean, I kinda don’t
[2026-06-08 09:16:00] Dave: I’m not sure.
[2026-06-08 09:16:00] Dave: Or thought they had
[2026-06-08 09:17:00] Sam Willis: Are they allowed to see each other anymore? Lol or are her parents still like “stay away from my daughter”
[2026-06-08 09:17:00] Sam Willis: Like it seems like such a wild response unless this is literally her first time having sex and she felt like she was going to be in huge trouble for it, you know?
[2026-06-08 09:17:00] Sam Willis: Soooooo
[2026-06-08 09:18:00] Sam Willis: Also. Like the dad could have called you guys first, vs just showing up
[2026-06-08 09:18:00] Dave: Oh no. Definitely not allowed to see each other
[2026-06-08 09:18:00] Sam Willis: Hmmm. Yea good luck with that 😅
[2026-06-08 09:18:00] Sam Willis: Hmmm. Yea good luck with that 😅
[2026-06-08 09:19:00] Dave: Well she’s not welcome here lol. And Emerson had been told in no uncertain terms that he needs to stay tf away from her
[2026-06-08 09:20:00] Sam Willis: Oooo Emerson. Teenagers. The things he gets himself into lol.
[2026-06-08 09:20:00] Sam Willis: What a damn mess
[2026-06-08 09:20:00] Dave: And ofc he’s completly in love with her like was with that last trashy slut
[2026-06-08 09:21:00] Dave: Yeah for sure
[2026-06-08 09:21:00] Sam Willis: Ughhhh 😭 I feel really bad for him because those feelings of love when you’re a teenager are like SO AMPLIFIED. Like all consuming.
[2026-06-08 09:21:00] Sam Willis: Ughhhh 😭 I feel really bad for him because those feelings of love when you’re a teenager are like SO AMPLIFIED. Like all consuming.
[2026-06-08 09:22:00] Sam Willis: Remind me of the last trashy slut? lol
[2026-06-08 09:22:00] Dave: But her parents were totally cool with it
[2026-06-08 09:22:00] Dave: The one who loved out in Arlington and would come spend the night
[2026-06-08 09:23:00] Dave: They were like: take her. One less mouth to feed
[2026-06-08 09:23:00] Sam Willis: So what happened with that relationship
[2026-06-08 09:24:00] Dave: I don’t even remember
[2026-06-08 09:25:00] Dave: Oh! That’s the one where he was hanging out with her pos brother when the motor in the car blew up
[2026-06-08 09:33:00] Sam Willis: Oh I think I remember this
[2026-06-08 09:46:00] Sam Willis: Transcription: Good morning just straighten my hair cause although I'm working from home I have to look presentable today for the couple of interviews so yay Anyway, I don't wanna word you know what I really don't wanna do. I don't wanna go into the fucking office tomorrow. That's what I don't wanna fucking do have a one on one with Samir. And just have like a group lunch and have to socialize I'm really over it all yeah you know what else am I saying anyway I hope you slept well. I think I slept pretty good way better than the night before when Cam was up every fucking hour. So Kendall came over yesterday and we were talking and this is just like stupid girl drama, but she's in a wedding for her friend and it was her and another bride bridesmaid And then, so Kendall is the maid of honor and also officiating and then now the other bridesmaid drop dropped out and I guess this other bridesmaid they went dress shopping. This other bridesmaids is also engaged and getting married soon, and I already picked out a wedding dress. And I guess the wedding dress that this other bride picked out looks very similar and the bridesmaid was like I like this is basically the bride's name was so devastated that this dress was gonna be so similar to hers when she got married that she literally dropped out of the wedding and also told this other bride that they can no longer be friends She's so upset about it. I'm like holy fuck who gives a shit people are insane. This is why we're not getting married again like the whole thing is just a bunch of hoopla about nothing Anyway That's really all I got Emerson shit is wild I don't know people are crazy If I were pissed at this girl for putting him through all this shit for lying for just what the fuck Like I would never when I was a teenager I was looking around behind my parents back and like lying to them I never blamed it on the fucking dude I would like make us some story about my friends or some shit. I don't know anyway. Kids are fucking wild so all right bye
[2026-06-08 09:54:00] Dave: Audio Message.caf Transcription: Bro, right I would be fucking apoplectic if Some bitch was like no he raped me because I was scared of getting in trouble with my parents or whatever like there's no fucking way I would like be all right with that that's insanity But yeah, that's also crazy about the dress thing like who gives a single fuck about that like has anybody gonna like hold up their wedding pictures together and be like oh my God she got the same dress as the other girl dad What a piece of shit I don't get it to end a friendship and drop out of the wedding like that's just that's insanity But you got interviews today so that's cool for you. Hopefully they go well. I'm sure they will. What do you have today? Oh my God And tomorrow at least You'll know that after your lunch, you get to come pick me up so that'll be fun Yeah, I'm just looking forward to that OK, bye
[2026-06-08 09:54:00] Sam Willis: Oooo using big words today!!! lol
[2026-06-08 09:57:00] Sam Willis: Transcription: Oh damn, what was I gonna say? I don't know so This is some random about when you're out of town like you're gonna be gone for a few days. Do you put something on your Etsy or on your website? That's like orders will be delayed for a few days. I know there's this girl that I follow. She lives here in Phoenix and I bought some things from her anyway she just went on vacation for a few days and she posted on our social media that like she actually like shut down her. Like the ability to even place orders while she was gone and got weak I'm like that that seems excessive to shut down the ability to even order. I would just fucking say that it's gonna be delayed but anyway. I can't remember what you said what do I have going on today? I have two meetings and then I think my first interview is at 10:45 and other ones at one. And Then, yeah, today's like this whole week Monday through Thursday is technically decor conference, which is like that risk training conference that we get for free. You probably didn't sign up. Like CRM gives it to us for free anyway, so I might try to listen into some training sessions while I clean the house or something we'll see
[2026-06-08 09:58:00] Dave: Yeah, I’m gonna put a message up on Etsy
[2026-06-08 10:02:00] Sam Willis: I’m shooketh!
[2026-06-08 10:02:00] Sam Willis: Oh look at youuuuu!!!
[2026-06-08 10:03:00] Sam Willis: Transcription: I take back everything I said about you probably not signing up and and I'm also assuming you just never read your emails Anyway, also real quick for the first time ever in his life. I left Simba outside all night last night. I didn't realize until like 5 o'clock this morning when I woke up for the first time I don't know how the fuck like he was literally inside in like five minutes later, I locked everything up to go to bed and so he must've like snuck out in that five minute window. I feel so bad and I'm so glad he didn't get picked fucking coyotes. Poor little babe sounds like forever
[2026-06-08 10:03:00] Dave: Idk if you get cpes but I need some sooooo
[2026-06-08 10:03:00] Sam Willis: Yes you definitely get CPEs

[2026-06-08 10:51:00] Dave: Hmm
[2026-06-08 10:51:00] Dave: Did you have your calendar blocked?
[2026-06-08 10:52:00] Dave: Decline it and say you have another meeting you can’t reschedule. Or a dr appointment or something.
[2026-06-08 10:55:00] Sam Willis: I rescheduled to 1130. Ugh. My whole damn week is blocked off but no one cares lol
[2026-06-08 11:25:00] Sam Willis: No jeans! lol
[2026-06-08 11:25:00] Sam Willis: It’s gonna be so hot outside this week. 🤮
[2026-06-08 11:32:00] Dave: I don’t own a pair of jeans
[2026-06-08 11:41:00] Sam Willis: Same same
[2026-06-08 11:41:00] Dave: 🤦♂️
[2026-06-08 11:41:00] Sam Willis: What pants do you wear
[2026-06-08 11:41:00] Sam Willis: Whatever. Long pants. You know what I’m saying
[2026-06-08 11:41:00] Dave: No. Jeans are denim

[2026-06-08 11:42:00] Sam Willis: Bring those shortssssss
[2026-06-08 11:42:00] Sam Willis: Semantics lol
[2026-06-08 11:43:00] Dave: Idk.. I don’t wear shorts because I don’t want my legs to be exposed when I’m like… doing things..
[2026-06-08 11:44:00] Sam Willis: Then what do you mean?!
[2026-06-08 11:44:00] Dave: No lol. Pants won’t stop bruises
[2026-06-08 11:44:00] Dave: Idk… dirt, debris..

[2026-06-08 11:45:00] Dave: I am
[2026-06-08 11:45:00] Sam Willis: It’s fineeeeee
[2026-06-08 11:45:00] Sam Willis: Bring the 2 pairs of shorts
[2026-06-08 11:46:00] Sam Willis: I run the AC like 24/7. You’ll see. The main living room/kitchen area just gets hot faster than the rest of the house. It’s fine.
[2026-06-08 11:47:00] Dave: <no text>
[2026-06-08 11:47:00] Sam Willis: Hehehe
[2026-06-08 12:00:00] Dave: Ugh
[2026-06-08 12:00:00] Sam Willis: For the CPEs, you have to answer 3 poll questions FYI
[2026-06-08 12:01:00] Dave: Oh this shit is going now…
[2026-06-08 12:02:00] Dave: It gave me times in EDT
[2026-06-08 12:06:00] Dave: Can we still get CPEs if we watch the sessions later?
[2026-06-08 12:06:00] Sam Willis: No
[2026-06-08 12:06:00] Dave: Weak
[2026-06-08 12:10:00] Sam Willis: It dings though when there is a poll lol
[2026-06-08 12:10:00] Dave: Yeah
[2026-06-08 12:12:00] Dave: I might need to log into these this week lol
[2026-06-08 12:13:00] Sam Willis: lol no problem
[2026-06-08 12:21:00] Sam Willis: Looking up more stuff on midland. Of course, the audit committee there consists of 4 old, white men. Ugh
[2026-06-08 12:22:00] Dave: Lol.. Of course 🙄
[2026-06-08 12:29:00] Sam Willis: Transcription: I just am like going through emails and on Friday the CRM mentorship program sent out an email about how their upcoming speaker series event is on career strategy and they are honored to welcome experience leaders, blah blah blah and Stephen Kolich for a thoughtful and insightful discussion on how you grow show up and create impact overtime I just I wanna listen just to be mad I actually might do that just listen so I could be like bullshit Freaking career strategy, my ass I guess that's better than him like presenting on how to be him you know great career coach and developer
[2026-06-08 12:30:00] Dave: “Look outside”
[2026-06-08 12:30:00] Dave: Omfg
[2026-06-08 12:34:00] Sam Willis: Such a tool
[2026-06-08 12:53:00] Dave: 50 minutes.. byeeeeee
[2026-06-08 12:54:00] Sam Willis: lol.
[2026-06-08 12:57:00] Sam Willis: Transcription: So just had that quick touch base with Samir and like all of Steven's old wrecks and it's just not interesting like yeah we're gonna get the post as quickly as possible for Stevens backfill. We prefer Southlake. We could open it up to Denver too, but it would have to be an internal employee I think like leaving the door open for. Chris to take it and maybe Brian if he wanted to try but it sounds like Chris is like definitely higher up there because Chris is already taking over like the day-to-day Stuff in places, Stephen, but Anyway, it's just such bullshit like all these rolls that they're only filling in Southlake like fuck off
[2026-06-08 12:59:00] Dave: Yep, that’s the big new building they have to justify lol
[2026-06-08 12:59:00] Dave: South/west lake
[2026-06-08 13:04:00] Sam Willis: It says a lot about future growth in Schwab. Like you either move there or you’re screwed
[2026-06-08 13:51:00] Sam Willis: Transcription: I just had my phone screen with the light and she said salary would be very comparable. Probably honestly be a higher base salary than what I'm making now and maybe lower bonus potential and I'm like OK and that's just for a manager role then there's like senior manager and then like which is what Allison is and she's like you should be a senior manager director so I'm not holy shit. Fabulous she did ask me about the 50% travel and I'm like I'm gonna be honest with you. 50% would not work out. I'm like I'm like if I have to go to a client you know pop over for a couple days every week that is more doable, but yeah, she's like a manager position. You know you have direct reports they're the ones that are on site. I'm just like holy fuck like Jesus Christ can they actually not be that? I also was like you know I also wanna be upfront that I am risking controls focused. I am not technical. I have not been. You know a cyber security instant responder in my past but if you're looking for somebody who understands inherent risks around instant response programs, and what control should be in place. I'm like then I could do that and she was like no that's totally great. We're looking for somebody you know who has an experience and highly regulated environments and she's like what you have. I'm like perfect can do you know really I'm thinking like this is a client facing role if they really need assistance and. Well, I don't know. I guess it just depends on what it is. They're being assistance but like if I'm having to assist a client in building an incident response function from the ground up then they're gonna be a small client. You know what I mean it's not like you're walking into Charles Schwab and having any consult on. Staining up a whole instant response program like they should already have something like that in place you know I don't know but anyway then she said OK. Well, you know we're very intentional about who we choose to move forward. We don't wanna waste time and you know I know you're in late sage interview so I'll you know what is your availability this week if we decide to move forward and maybe be a 45 minute interview with the pee and she's like it would be a technical interview not like skills test, but like you would be talking to somebody who can like speak the language and I'm like fuck. I mean, I can do that. It's fine. Do I really wanna be a consultant they do make bank but I really wanna be a consultant I don't know, bro people hate big four consultants but also I can just use AI to like do all my work. But also like the big four companies are already in the fucking news for using AI fucking slop it's like hallucinating it's not even correct
[2026-06-08 13:59:00] Dave: You sound kinda excited! And like it went well! ❤️

[2026-06-08 14:01:00] Dave: I mean.. you could.. but it would be tough
[2026-06-08 14:01:00] Dave: It would suck being a consultant
[2026-06-08 14:02:00] Dave: Like, nature is it lol
[2026-06-08 14:02:00] Dave: I’ve never seen anything worth a fuck from an agency
[2026-06-08 14:02:00] Sam Willis: Transcription: Like people really do hate consultants like and it's one of those things where Companies pay out the ass to a big four whenever if they just worked on it internally, they would develop a better product. You know a lot of times big four or other consultants will just hand your report and then it collects us because nobody ever fucking does what it says or they come in in the entirely miss the mark I don't know it's just like I wanna be a valuable person at work. I don't know if this brings value.
[2026-06-08 14:05:00] Dave: Think you’ll be oyw to pick me up in 24 hours 😁?

[2026-06-08 14:36:00] Dave: Are you going in to the office like normal tomorrow or are you just going in for you 1:1 and lunch?

[2026-06-08 15:36:00] Sam Willis: Transcription: I'm freaking tired So this is what the guy who I had like the informal conversation with one night at 6 o'clock this is the guy I would be reporting to you and he just asked me like two questions when it was like what's your leadership style like to was Basically, how do you handle conflict? Any multiple people have given an example of. You go to close out an issue and you know they haven't remediated it really and so then you have to have this conflict of well. I'm not gonna close out this issue because it's not remediated and I'm like why are we waiting until after the remediation date to talk about that. Like we should all align upfront on how they're gonna remediate this and then we should be talking about it along the way I don't know I feel like my answers are never right and I just talk and talk and talk, but like I don't talk enough Does that make sense? I don't know, man I just feel like the conversation did not do enough to like. Highlight my strength, especially with this guy at first I wasn't even prepared. I haven't even applied for the role. I hadn't even looked up anything and then this was like super short too and he's like I got everything I need on my side and so I seem to like you hate me or You love me that you hate me so you're not even gonna like barely with it or you already have your mind set up that you like me and so we just don't need to talk that much more. I don't know. I hate not knowing and so it's like more fucking waiting. He said to text him on Friday after my calls with him. The other two people and then he said to you know they're hoping to make another decision. You know of decision in the next couple weeks God.
[2026-06-08 15:39:00] Dave: Which means plenty of time to THC to get out of your system 🤭
[2026-06-08 15:39:00] Dave: Sooooo… sounds like it’s going to be a couple weeks no matter what.
[2026-06-08 15:39:00] Sam Willis: Transcription: And these motherfuckers are complaining about this is a Schwab complaining about the fact that our daily standup is now at 8:15 my time they're like it's really messed up. I can't make any of the calls now I'm like just fucking move it back then. You fucking assholes God
[2026-06-08 15:40:00] Dave: They can fucking deal
[2026-06-08 15:40:00] Dave: Fuck them

[2026-06-08 16:14:00] Dave: Well that’s only 1 more hour right?
[2026-06-08 16:22:00] Sam Willis: That someone can’t take the time to look at the groups calendars and find a time that works for all

[2026-06-08 16:22:00] Sam Willis: The more I think about this, the more pissed off i get.
[2026-06-08 16:22:00] Sam Willis: The more I think about this, the more pissed off i get.

[2026-06-08 16:23:00] Sam Willis: “Long standing conflicting meetings”
[2026-06-08 16:23:00] Dave: Or at the very least, accommodate the people in the earliest time zone
[2026-06-08 16:23:00] Dave: Why the fuck not?
[2026-06-08 16:24:00] Dave: Here’s a novel idea… Maybe don’t have a fucking DAILY standup?!
